The film is about a young boy named Lewis. When a fatal car crash claims the life of Lewis’ parents, he is sent under the custody of his uncle. He is left downtrodden and unsure about his life but is quickly swept up in the supernatural and magical events that unfold throughout the course of the movie. Lewis soon finds out that his uncle Jonathan is not what he perpetuates himself to be. Jonathan is a warlock who is seeking the location of a clock within the walls of the house in which he lives. He is unsure of the purpose of this clock but believes it to be of malicious nature. Frightened but intrigued by his discovery of Jonathan's true nature, Lewis teaches himself to perform magic as well. He eventually becomes embroiled in a struggle against evil forces as he grows into a fine young lad along the way, coping with his personal loss and fears in life.
