He is also known as 'The Caped Crusader', 'The Dark Knight', as well as 'The World's Greatest Detective'. Batman's alter ego is Bruce Wayne, a wealthy American playboy, philanthropist, and owner of Wayne Enterprises. His character Batman was birthed after witnessing the murder of his parents Dr. Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne. Batman differs from many superheroes as he has no superpowers.
