movie facts

The bespoke style of the agents on Kingsmen: The Secret Service is all thanks to Matthew Vaughn's inspiration of the real life Kingsman tailor shop. Known as Huntsman and located at 11 Savile Row in London, the shop boasts of a fantastically bespoke history. Established by Henry Huntsman in 1849, then on Dover Street. Huntsman gave his services during the war in 1914, enlisting hundreds of military customers. Of the British Royal family, King Edward VIII became a customer in 1917. Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn actually has history with Huntsman. It was there that his mother bought him his first ever bespoke suit. More interesting is a piece from the special Kingsman collection made by the Huntsman - the Chalk Striped Siren Suit. Inspired by Winston Churchill's own, the suit was worn in the movie by the Kingsman recruits.
