movie facts

The 2016 reboot of the classic Ghostbusters film was seen as a flop, with many providing insight that it was backlash against the all-female lead cast. But Paul Feig’s film isn’t the only blockbuster movie reboot to not rake in big bucks as the box office. Another notable film that replaced its cast and was received poorly was The Bourne Legacy released in 2002. Jeremy Renner replaced Matt Damon who starred in the previous Bourne Legacy films. Viewers didn’t take kindly to Renner and it affected the movie’s turn-out, becoming the lowest grossing Bourne film out of the series.
