As he comes into age, Buddy begins to ask questions why he is considerably larger than the rest of his brethren. Santa allows Buddy to travel to New York City to seek out his birth father Walter Hobbs. Hobbs is on Santa's naughty list as he is a heartless jerk who has no idea that he has a son.
