Vicky Kausha was born on May 16th,1988. He is an Indian actor best known for his work in Hindi Films. Kausha is the son of director Sham Kaushal. Kausha went to school and earned an engineering degree from the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology before heeding the calling of film. Kausha played a role in the 2012 Gang of Wasseypur, followed by two minor roles in two other films by Kashyap. Kausha nailed his first leading role for the independent film Masaan released in 2015. Kausha won the IIDA and Screen Award for Best Male Debut for that role.
Kausha's rise to fame is most credited to his roles in the 2018 films Raazi and Sanju. The two films were two of the highest grossing Hindi films of 2018. The same year Kausha starred in made for Netflix films Love per Square Foot as well a Lust Stores. In 2019, Kausha had a starring role as a military officer in the film Uri: The Surgical Strike.
Uri: The Surgical Strike was released in 2019. This Indian action film was written and directed by Aditya Dhar. The film was produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP Movies. The film displays the acting of Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina, and Yami Gautam. The film is a dramatized telling of the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack. The film was released in January of 2019 and was well received by critics.
