After a crash landing, Army Ranger Sniper Quinn McKenna and his team find themselves at war against the alien creature. After defeating the creature McKenny sends his armor off to his son to prove the existence of the creature and takes the creature to the lab of evolutionary biologist Casey Bracket. The predator awakes, breaks free of its shackles, and kills many of the lab workers. McKenna is bussed with a bunch of government laptops but upon seeing that the predator has escapes they take over the bus. With the help of Bracket, the team of misfits must not slay the ever-advancing predator.

The creature known as the Predator is known as the Yautja. They are extraterrestrial species who are known for their activity of hunting other dangerous species for sport and honor, which includes human beings. The first design of the Predator was done by Stan Winston in 1987. They are humanoid in their appearance, bipedal, distinguishable from us because of their great height, dreadlocks, and their mandibles. With regards to their relationships with the Xenomorphs, the alien creatures that they face off against in Aliens vs. Predator, these are their “ultimate prey”, as well as holding a special reverence for the extraterrestrial creatures.

The Predator, co-written by director Shane Black with Fred Dekker, is the 2018 science fiction thriller and the fourth installment in the Predator film series. The cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen, and Sterling K. Brown. The movie follows Predator (1987), Predator 2 (1990), and Predators (2010). Critics did not have many positive things to say about the film however with a budget of $88 million the worldwide gross sales were $160.5 million with $51 million from the US and Canada markets alone. There are talks of additional Predator sequels, but nothing has been confirmed.
