movie facts

Star Trek has been an on-going space opera since 1966. A notable character of the series is the USS Enterprise, the iconic spaceship that ferries the crew of Jean Luc Picard, Spock, and company through multiple worlds and adventures. A surprising discovery made by Star Trek Beyond director, Justin Lin, was that the Enterprise’s official blueprint was non-existent. Some other notable starships that made their appearances in the rebooted series are the USS Vengeance in the 2013 Star Trek Into Darkness. This was a powerful ship meant to be used for war against the Klingon Empire, design by Khan Noonien Singh. The Narada, an old Romulan mining vessel that appeared in 2009’s Star Trek, was once a formidable warship, easily defeating fifty Klingon Birds of Prey.
