movie facts

Mad Max: Fury Road is set is a post-apocalyptic desert. One of its themes explores survival – how humanity can work to retain itself against the threat of apocalyptic events. In the event of some real-life, horrific apocalypses like a nuclear holocaust, a zombie plague, or an asteroid strike, there are several ways to ensure survival in the now-harrowing Earth. Food is a staple in all survival gears. There are available freeze-dried food or MREs (meals ready to eat) that boast years of shelf life. Setting up a garden to grow food will also come in handy should the scarcity reach beyond a few months. For drinking resources, water can be disinfected using bleach. To remove any chunks, straining it through fabric will help. Other items you should keep in check are: a first-aid kit, basic cooking equipment, lighters or matches, maps, money, a knife, and a rope.
