Limitless’ success spawned a television series in 2015. Lead star Bradley Cooper first announced the TV spin-off in late 2013. He also stated that he, Leslie Dixon, and Scott Kroopf would serve as executive producers of the television adaptation. The following month came with news on the development of the series. At the onset of November, it was reported that CBS would give financial support to the project by ordering a pilot episode. Its pilot episode continued where the film left off. Later, it was reports circulated that Brian Finch was cast to play the lead role. The directorial responsibilities landed on Marc Webb since Neil already had his hands tied with another drama pilot. But Burger remained to serve as an executive producer. Limitless finally came into fruition in May 2015 as CBS officially ordered a pilot that had a 1.9 rating. The series eventually ran for a season on CBS before getting cancelled.

Its screenplay was written by Leslie Dixon from Alan Glynn’s The Dark Fields. It stars Bradley Cooper, Abbie Cornish, Robert De Niro, Andrew Howard, and Anna Friel. It features a struggling writer whose life tremendously by a smart drug that allows him to be limitless. Throughout its release, Limitless was a commercial success. It earned a worldwide total of $160 million against its production budget of $30 million.
