In the wake of Superman/Clark Kent’s death at the hands of Doomsday, Bruce Wayne/Batman is inspired by the Kryptonian’s selfless act, reaching out to one of his new allies, Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, to face the powerful and evil force of Steppenwolf who has returned to earth with his demons to recover the Mother Boxes. The two of them set out to build a team of meta-humans: Aquaman/Arthur Curry, the heir to the throne of Atlantis; Barry Allen/The Flash, who can move with superhuman speed and tap into the Speed Force; and, Cyborg/Victor Stone, a cybernetically reconstructed techno-organic being enhanced by alien technology. Despite their league of heroes, they’re going to need the help of an even powerful ally in order to stop total world annihilation.

movie facts

Many of the special effects, costumes, and sets, built for Justice League contributed to its high production cost. This is because making blockbuster films involves spending big to win big. And a classic film that achieved that was the Titanic, costing between $120 to $150 million to construct the set. Next-level cinema work paid off for James Cameron’s Avatar that created cutting-edge CGI and took a big, risky leap into 3D, all totaling $237 million.
