Christmas is fast approaching, and construction manager Roman Melnyk is anxiously awaiting the return of his wife and pregnant daughter. As he waits at the airport to pick up his family, Roman receives the news no one ever wants to hear: there had been a mid-air accident in which two airplanes have collided, and there are no survivors. Amid this unimaginable event, the air traffic controller who was in charge during the events is crushed by the weight of his actions. With the two men linked by events no one could ever imagine, they must now seek peace within themselves.
